with an experience of more than 30 years in the production of electric
and motorpumps, has also obtained an important specialization in
fire-fighting systems. With a careful knowledge of standards, GMP can
propose suitable and complete pumping systems for fire-fighting. Considering
the different technical performance required, we can study the most
convenient solution to obtain the best result and we can prepare any
technical information. A
very good fire-fighting system is complete of: -
a main electric pump; -
a pump with same capacity with endothermic motor -
a jockey pump with electric motor at low power -
control panel for the two pumps with general switch, starting and
stopping remote control switch,

Logistic of Running
The
jockey electric pump, supplied with an hydraulic air vessel, keeps in pressure
and full of water the complete system, and, by a special pressure-switch, starts
to provide for little losses of the system.
When
more water is required, for the opening of one or more gates, the pressure of
the system lowers and, by the pressure-switch, the main electric pump starts.
When
the main pumps does not start, for absence of electric power or for a
break-down, the further decrease in pressure starts the motorpump by a
calibrated pressure-switch.
When no water is required, by the closing of the gates, the pressure of the system increases and stops the pumps.
